i have a dx, so no spoiler. and i don't want a spoiler

my 3rd brake light is mounted on the rear deck. i don't like it there

i would prefer to just not have a center high mount brake light but it'll get me pulled over eventually

the reason i don't want the light on the rear deck is because i have the interior of my car gutted and i like it that way. i removed the rear deck insert because it rattles also

so what should i do about the center high mount brake light

i could take the light housing out of the rear deck insert and mount it standalone to the metal rear deck somehow

anyone else modify theirs?

 

did you want to just get a small LED strip and mount it right where it mount and wire it from the bulb wire ?

i like that but i don't wanna stick it to the glass. years ago i spent like $200 something for rear tints and they did a good job. need it to be mounted to the rear deck
