get the optiblue superwhite bulbs from autodynamic, they work so good that they perform and LOOK like real HID's...especially in my stanley SiR black housing headlights. its funny how people that have real HID's think that mine are real...
what is the wattage on optiblue superwhite bulbs from autodynamic???
and what gen of accord do u have for black housing???
i do think mine is bright enough... but i have really short distance.. so..
i'm looking for bulb that provides long distace...
thanx

bright and light output are two different things. Bulbs can LOOK like HID in color, but they will not have the same light output as real HID's
the best you can do is do the 9005 to 9006 conversion using any of the "superblue/coolblue/superwhite" bulbs to get the white light plus more output.

no, u modify high beams which are slightly higher wattage and do not have the lil cap on the tip of it to fit into the low beams, thus more light is being put out by the low beam bulbs.
but watch out for the damage using higher wattage bulbs..it could fu(k up your wires..get HID instead..i have those hid look ghey blubs now
after seeing my friend's hid(mcculluce?sp)is very very sweet.
330 shipped

are those optiblues really that good?
to answer the other guy: i have a 94 accord with the real deal stanley SiR black housing headlights. the wattage i think is 85w or something like that, but i had no problems in the past 2 years i have owned these lights. the color doesn't fade like other bulbs i have seen.
silverstars are bright as hell when you do a 9005 bulb conversion onto the 9006 headlight socket...search for the thread on how to.
is off ebay...my fd who have those in his teg ordered couple more from him.
is the brand with black box and yellow writing. "McCulluce" or McC something.
no need for conversion or alter anything for most of the non-factory hid car.
9006,9006,h4 and most of the popular size.
is very sweet even with his old dull projector lens(95 teg)
let me look up for his email address...
installation is pretty foolproof...
ground wires, drill holes to keep the boxes in place.
tap in two wire..+ and -
plug in..and enjoy
