Default Guys help! 2007 Civic!

Hi first time on the forum,, just bought a 07 civic, for pretty cheap. The cars immaculate condition, just doesn't start.

Seller told me story that the car was running perfect, and one day it just didn't start, lol

Anyways its not throwing any codes.

FUEL - OK
AIR - OK
SPARK - OK
COMPRESSION - LOW (Average of 60 - 90 psi between cylinders)

1 out of 6 times when i crank the car will sputter up to 420 rpms and die out.

Should the car still start even with such low compression? I read that is should be above 135 psi to be proper.

What could cause this? Slipped timing chain? Maybe valves went bad but how? Any way to adjust timing?

Checked for headgasket symptoms, but found none, and it would be very rare for the gasket to break between all cylinders anyway.

What should i do next guys? any thoughts?

First thing I would do is check timing. If that's all correct, then I would suspect your getting oil on your rings from repetitive attempts, thus increasing compression.
