00 CRV parts car...What can I use on my 95 Accord
My friend has bought a 00 CRV parts car
the shell itself is pretty much heavily rusted, but he will be using it mainly for the motor and misc interior pieces
and asked if I wanted anything..
Looking at the CRV, what I would take is the front knuckle assembly with the calipers
I know that usually during a 5 bolt swap, V6 accord or 98 Oddessy assembly are used
but no where did I find any using the CRV front knuckle assembly and calipers.
So would the front knuckle assembly work on my 95 Accord? I already have the rear parts collected which use the CRV drum and prelude hub
Any clarification on the front?
Thanks

CR-V is related(derived from) to the Civic/Integra, front knuckles are pretty much the same between these two cars. Honda/Acuras share similar suspesion designs amongst the models but they are different from class to class.
Stick to Ody/Prelude/Accord parts for your car.

Well after some research, Civics doing a 5 bolt using accord/ody/lude using the front knuckle assembly ends up to tall
So on the flipside, meaning if I try a CRV onto an Accord, well the opposite could happen where the whole entire knuckle assembly will be too short. And looking at the lower control design of the CRV, it looks to be a one piece vs an accord where it is two piece design
Thanks for your help none the less.
