Default auto Transmission install 93 accord help

So I am attempting my first transmission install and have a couple questions. first, should the torque converter be installed on the fly wheel with the transmission attached or before? two, is there any real critical procedures that i should know of? Thanks

Torque converter should be in transmission. Make sure it's fully seated.

^ to properly insall it, you will want the TC to be up against the bellhousing to allow clearance of the drive(flex)plate on installation.
This is for a 94-97 but 90-93 should be pretty close.

If you are worried abou the TC slipping off the transmisison use a piece of steel and one of the 10mm headed bolts at the bottom of the bellhousing to prevent it from sliding off.
94-97 PS pump bracket is very useful in this spot.
