Hello everyone, I have this blue 03 Type-S that I will be parting out. When I first got the car, it needed a clutch. I actually had plans to use the drop out for a K swap on my CRX, but once I got the clutch swapped, I enjoyed driving the car everyday. Fast forward until a couple of months later, and the trans is now bad. It has a knocking/whining noise whenever the clutch isn't depressed. I can only assume something is wrong with the diff. With that said, I have purchased a CRV to drive everyday, and I've decided to part the entire car out, rather than mess with a used trans. (I have a 2 and 3 year old, and the RSX was just awful with both kids in car seats, so this just makes more sense). The car is 100% complete as I type this. I have torn absolutely nothing apart. It actually still drives ok aside from the noise right now. Original engine and trans with 155k on the odometer. Engine runs great, pulls surprisingly hard (this is my first RSX).

I'm located in southern Indiana. Right now, I will be trying to keep the body intact, as the car has a clean title, and I would love to sell it as a roller once the parts I sell are removed. I prefer not to ship large items (i.e. seats, engine, suspension components, large interior pieces, wheels) I will list some prices on some of the more expensive items. Everything else, feel free to make offers. Everything you see in the pics is still for sale. As soon as it sells I will list it in this thread as quickly as possible. Private message is fine. 05-06 Type S wheels with Fuzion tires. Tires have 60-70ish % tread life. Wheels have been plastidipped to hell and back, and not done well. I think the price will reflect this $275

Not to deter your plan, but if i were you I'd just fix the transmission (which sounds like just an input shaft bearing) and sell it as a whole. It looks really clean for its age.
