2009 Pilot heater/AC issues
A few months ago, I purchased a 2009 Pilot Touring edition...obviously used. When we bought it, it was the beginning of summer, so the AC was in use.
Problem 1. After a month or so, we started to figure out the controls, including the rear controls. When we have the AC turned on in the rear system, as we turn the temperature lower, the blower seems to work less and less. Once it gets cold enough, there is zero airflow out the rear vents. The front AC works perfectly fine.
Problem 2. The heater doesn't seem to work well at all. We turn on the heater in the middle of winter (SE US isn't that cold anyways), and after 10 minutes, it's still blowing cold air. Temperature controls are set to Hi. Neither the front or rear blow hot air.
I'm trying to get an idea of what it could be. For the heat, could it be a heater core issue? I don't know enough about the AC system to know whether it's a vent mechanism issue, or whether it's an AC component issue.
thanks
