I just got my black housing headlights in and installed them. They had clear plastic on them to protect the lense. I left the plastic on them while the car was parked for about a week and now they are stained with dirt marks like oil finger prints. I tried using glass cleaner but nothing. Their brand new I don't want to ruin them . Any tip to make them look crystal clear again.

 

The heat/sun probably caused the adhesive to adhere permanently. I doubt you can get it off without polishing the headlights which means once you do it, you'll have to keep doing it if you go to deep.

 

Thanks I didn't think of that. Im taking the car to get detailed so I guess I'll let them polish them up.
