fuel pump doesn't prime and C.E.L. doesn't turn off

My car's fuel pump doesn't prime and C.E.L. doesn't turn off I actually have to kick the bottom of steering wheel for it to fire back up? Not really sure what it might be do you have any advice on what I can start to try first?

Yes start by not hijacking someone else's thread and create your own thread.

In your thread provide complete car details, and everything you have done in detail so far to diagnose and/or fix the problem.
