Im wanting to buy a 2010 honda fit but I'm not sure how much the repair cost would be they're selling it for 4000 but it has front end damage is it worth it?

That car is fucked. Find a car that hasn't been wrecked.

Why would you even consider buying that?

I love Honda Fits, but that thing looks pretty messed up. Even if you fix it up, there might be other problems such as the axle, etc...

Step one: Dont buy it.

Step two: If you have ignored step 1 and still are considering buying it, then take it to a body shop to get a proper estimate.

Step 3: Dont buy it.

Step 4: if you're still ignoring step 1 and 3, then do a DMV check to see if the title is salvaged or not.

Step 5: If you have gathered the information on the sale price plus cost of repairs, and still plan to buy it and you dont care that it costs the same as buying a used one that was never hit then you'll probably want to negotiate the sale price far below $3000

Step 6: take your newly purchased (likely salvaged) vehicle to the body shop and after a lot of arguing and back and forth with the body shop about unforeseen costs and down time. in maybe 2-4 months you'll get your car back all shiny and new again, and overpriced

Like others said, steer clear. Also, avoid salvaged titles in general.
