I just want to stream audio from my android smartphone in my new Civic EX
Honda noob here. Just got a new Civic EX, and I'm loving it, except when making my purchase, one of the important factors was that the car had connectivity with my phone so that I could stream audio from my phone whether it was actual music files, youtube, podcasts, whatever. I just care about the audio playing from my phone to the speakers.
As far as I can tell, there is ZERO way to do this! Hopefully I'm just missing something, and someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I have the phone connected via bluetooth to the point where it shows my contacts and I presume I can make phone calls with it (haven't tried). This would leave me to believe that I could easily stream any audio from my phone to the system, but when I go to audio sources, it just says "no apps found" or something like that.
I own an LG G3 android with the latest lollipop OS.

Do the new Civics not have the USB connection in the arm rest like the 09-11 do? That's what I use to connect my iPhone on my 09.
I got the bluetooth to work now. I was trying to tap the "phone" icon to stream its content, but I had to actually click the "bluetooth" audio source. DUH! I swear that icon was not there before.
