Weird Part- Name and placement? Also Manifold is stuck.
Been working on and off of my 96 Honda Accord LX 2.2 Non-Vtech for a few weeks now getting ready to sell it after replacing the head gasket and dropped in a almost brand new cylinder head. Almost everything is back together but for the life of my I don't know what this part is and my diagram for hosing doesn't say. By chance does anyone know what this part is and where does it hook up to?
Also for some reason when ever I have to put the exhaust manifold back on I have to wrestle with it something fierce. and it feels like it's catching on something from underneath but I don't know what, everythign looks fine. I've always had my neighbor come out and do it because he's made out of tonka tough steel but he threw his back out recently.

That's the engine mount control solenoid valve for Accords with automatic transmission.
One vacuum hose goes to the intake manifold and the other vacuum hose goes to the rear mount.

Exhaust manifolds can hang up on installation if it is not installed square to the studs. Don't force it on, guide it on and if it hangs up back off slightly and make sure that the mating surfaces are parallel while installing.
