So I wanted to recharge my A/C but it appears that since the system probably has a leak, the pressure got too low and now the a/c clutch won't turn on because of it. How can I override the a/c clutch so I can recharge my a/c?

 

The freon can will have enough pressure to turn the switch on.

 

You need to figure out if it leaked all the way out, or if is just low. If totally out, you need to fix leak, replace drier, vacuum down then recharge. If just low, you can add and be fine.
