Default Hi Im New

Hi I am new to the site and have a 2003 Honda Pilot. I have only purchased two cars in my life and both were either Honda or Acura. Needless to say I am a ride it till the wheels fall off person.

Any way, my Pilot has an oil leak and I am wondering what to do. I took it to the dealership and they told me they needed to reseal the oil pump and oil pan. So I let them.

I then took the car to another dealership and they said that the car was leaking oil from the rear main seal and the O ring.

I want to know if the oil pump and pan are near the rear main seal and O ring.

I am trying to figure out if they actually fixed the oil leak at the first place.

ANY insight would be greatly appreciated. I am just a couple of 100 miles shy of 200k and would love to get more.

Thanks,
