2012 Honda accord EX-L
Do Hondas sound different than normal motors?? Sort of like a diesel?? Mine seems to sound a little different not sure it it's normal or not. Only at idle it sounds similar to a diesel car only has 43,000

Did you buy the car new? Or did you only notice it now?
2012+ Honda used a direct injection engine. They call it Earth Dream. DI makes more noise. Honda does not suppress it as well as other manufactures. So you get that diesel sound.
