ACT HDSS. Great pedal feel without being too stiff. Great engagement. I've hit the track plenty of times with it and it feels up to the task. I run a Fidanza 7.5 FW but you can run whatever you like. I prefer the serviceable friction plates and it's light.

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
I believe the Exedy stage 1 just has a more agressive friction material...but not really any extra pressure plate force.
Its abnormal that you had issues with an Exedy stage1 at that power level. Considered buying an OEM disk?
ACT....or any heavy pressure clutch is prone to cause thrust bearing failure from street driving. You can get a clutch bypass switch and learn to only press the clutch selectively to help that, though.
