Default Video of intermediate shaft/trans noise

Car: 2001 Accord EX, 4cyl, Manual Transmission.

So I was under my car after removing my old axles, and I reached up and turned the intermediate shaft by hand. See the attached video (zip file, hopefully it works), it makes a rather loud noise, coming from what sounds like just inside the transmission. When I am driving I don't hear a thing, I've tried varying speeds with windows down, can't hear anything.

Is this normal? The car was not in gear.

Forum was a big help in my work this weekend, btw. I just replaced all my strut assemblies, inner/outer tie rods, upper control arm/ball joints, lower ball joints, front stabilizer links, axles, bearings (took knuckle to shop to have pressed) and rotors. Big shout out to OneBadTurboCRV, took time to really give specific advice on a few things, very helpful.

Anyway, any input on the shaft/transmission noise?

Ok, if this gets to a 100 views, surely somebody will at least have an opinion? I'm starting to think it was either such a stupid question that it doesn't warrant a response, or truly it's an odd one nobody has seen.
