I have a 92 honda accord with the 2.2L engine with 337000 miles on it. I have noticed here recently i have been losing antifreeze, it isn't a whole lot but enough that i have to add when i check. I added some antifreeze about 2 weeks ago and looked yesterday and i noticed i have to add some again. I haven't seen any visible signs of a leak and was wondering where else i could be losing it. I don't think its the heater core since i don't smell it in the cab. Anyone have any ideaas?

 

If you don't see any leaks and you're losing a good bit of coolant, it could be a faulty head gasket.

 

I had the same thing on my 97. But I was pretty sure my head gasket was ok, as it's only 18 months old. I replaced the radiator and cap. I'm pretty sure it was the cap, but the inside of my radiator looked bad so I swapped it. That stopped the leak. They also rent pressure testers at auto zone. You can test both your cap and coolant system for leaks.

 

That was my next step was to rent one of those and see what happened.
