Default EJ1 - driver's side caliper doesn't work

So picked up a ej1 shell a few months back. Have almost finished everything but today I got around to replacing the rotors and calipers In the front. I removed everything, replaced every thing and bled everything and for some reason my passanger brakes work fine but the driver side caliper isn't doing anything. Spin the wheel apply the brake and nothing. I put the old caliper back on assuring myself it was just a faulty bad caliper but still nothing. Before I bleed the rear in sequence around to the front and or replace the master what else could of happened? Like I stated I bought this as a shell and have never had it on the street so I am unsure if this issue was here prior to all I have done. She has came from 20% to 95% complete since I have owned it and no corners have been cut. This is a non abs model if that matters. Let me know what you guys think. Just strikes me as odd that one side is fine and the other isn't. Thanks in advance. (Have searched to no avail)

Conventional or ABS brakes?

Does brake fluid flow freely out of the bleed bolt in the caliper that isn't working?

I think I stated in the post is was a non abs model. Can't recall, but yes non abs and it bleeds perfectly fine. Very free flowing. I already know the bleeding sequence, was just curious to all the Causes. Like I had stated all the other brakes work fine minus the driver side.

Maybe the caliper was bad out of the box.

I'll address this^ response first by referring back to your first post:

Spin the wheel apply the brake and nothing. I put the old caliper back on assuring myself it was just a faulty bad caliper but still nothing.
I bought this as a shell and have never had it on the street so I am unsure if this issue was here prior to all I have done.
Based on this^ information, you have no idea whether the old caliper is good or bad, so drawing any conclusion from putting the old caliper back on is risky at best. This bring me back to my original point that the new caliper could be bad right out of the box.

Before I bleed the rear in sequence around to the front and or replace the master what else could of happened?
Why don't you just bleed system properly as described I posted, and then go from there?

You're right. I will pick up a new caliper if the bleeding sequence doesn't work and see if that solves the issue. Will update Friday on my day off.
