To start the question out here is what I know about the car. 2000 civic dx with a jdm type r swap and a p73-003 ecu and as best I can tell using jumper harness. I purchased the car this way and don't really know much else. I am getting a code 23 which to my knowledge is the knock sensor. But if I have research properly the jdm engine doesn't have the knock sensor. So my question is does that mean that the ecu is a usdm model? I thought that the US cars came with the p72 ecu. If someone could clear this up for me I would greatly appreciate it. It might help me figure out my other codes as well. Thanks
