Changed the fluid today, had to jack up the drivers side so I could get under the car. From all I read it said to keep the car level to get 3qts out. But once again I had to jack up the car to put the plug back on which about another qt came out so in total 4qts. Is that about right?

Also I put about 4 1/2qts back in. Is that ok?

 

As long as you properly refill it doesn't much matter how much came out. Don't overfill though.
