Default I was in the process of intalling ES Polyerethane bushing but...

I thgouth I'd start by taking apart the rear since I wanted to install my ST sway bar also. Well after I took apart the whole rear (thinking I'm going to be replacing the bushings), I look at the part list for the Full Bushing kit and the whole suspesntion kit only includes:
Front end control arm bushing set
Front strut rod set
Front shock bushing set
Front endlink set
Front upper and lower balljoint boot set
Front tie-rod boot set
Front spring pad set
Grease

so basiclaly i wasted my time taking apart the whole rear. Does anyone have the Entergy suspension kit? Is this how it is? There's just no bushing for the rear to replace?

If you purchased the Hyperflex? Kit by E.S. or bought all those individually by E.S. They do not make bushings for the rear of Accords.

Your gonna have fun w/ the Lower Control Arm bushings
They were a pain in the *** for me I did them myself w/ a torch & air tools.

One point of advice - Lube the **** out of those f@ckers before you install them so that they don't squeek!

Later.
PM me if you have other ?'s

Cool, thanks a lot. I'm hoping I won't have too hard a time...taking the parts off the car is easy but yea, everyone talks about the pain in the butt to take the bushings out. I bought a tool to take the bushings out so hopefully i don't have to use the torch method. I'll post pics if things go well.

Thanks for the help, and I might be PM-ing you tomorrow if I get to it then...feelin lazy.

Does anyone know why they would make it for the front and not rear? It seems on a FWD car, you'd want the back end stiffer, not the front. I was assuming the Energy Suspension kit I got would be everything front and rear. Oh well...I got ST sway bar, a tire bar and strut bar for the rear so things should still be nice and stiff

Even prothane (according to their webiste), doesn't make rear bushings for the accord.

The point of Poly bushings is not stiffer but responsive.

Actually, I sold my 6th gen. This is all on a '94 accord. Can you show me where you see they make them for the rear of 5th gens? Thanks!

my email is derekmw@hotmail.com

http://www.prothane.com is their official website to contact them for info and/or distributors

one place i know of

http://www.accordstore.com
5th gen speciality store. not sure if they carry these in stock, but they will order and have it dropped shipped...
I ordered my total kit, front only from http://www.lightningmotorsports.com (or sometihng like that), it was drop shipped from prothane directly, they did not carry the item in stock.

Wow, should they be that expensive??? Prothane said the product number for the rear control arms is 8-313. Every place I called is at least $118 if not more. I would've thought for just the rear control arms it would be about $60 since I paid $130 for the whole front kit from energy suspensions.
