I remember there was a Miata group buy of these with polished lips. I would think they're made of the same material. Has anyone tried to polish the lips on the C8s. I know it's a lot of work, but has anyone tried and had success. If so, do you have any pics and could you list the procedure.

having a polished lip on a rim that doesn't really have a "lip" looks weird.
like if u have black or gunmetal, u see the spokes then this polished "ring". i dunno i think it looks weird.

 

I just thought the lip is a pretty decent size. I saw the pics of the wheels in the groupbuy and they look pretty nice. Just curious if anyone tried it. Just trying to be a little different. Thanks.
