Does anyone have a b20z in a 92-95 civic
If you have a b20z swapped into a 92-95 civic please post. I am thinking about doing this swap and I would like to know how much it was, mpg, 1/4 mile times, preformance, and overall reliability. Also what tranny did you use. THanks
use the SEARCH option next time - this time we'll let u slide lol-
anyways, I recently started a topic/poll called B20 vs. GSR and many people have replied some with the b20 motor in their civic - take a look at this thread (I will save u the search time)

You might take consideration in a B16A engine.. they are cheep.. and it will give you a nice motor to start your modifications
b20 is a good engine just has weak sleeves
Weak sleeves? I keep hearing this but can you back it up?
There was a guy running 16 psi of boost here with is B20 and that is when his sleeves cracked. That sounds pretty tough to me...

Yes you'll need a new tranny. Your current one will not work. I reccommend either a GSR or B16 tranny...
Prices on a B20Z or JDM B20B longblock range from $700 - $1000 US.

You need a P75 ECU (94-95 OBD1 LS computer)
Any B series tranny. I would actually recommend in the following order:
1) ITR Tranny - S80, USDM 4.40 FDR
2) B16 Tranny
3) GSR tranny
4) LS, dont think of it, it sucks. I have it in my Integra
I was able to lay down a 14.64 with a B20z/ITR tranny.
3rd day owning the car and I pulled that. I had traction problems. Running 195-55-15.
Was in a EG Si. Full interior.
