Icon7 2013 Civic Hybrid

I have just purchased a used hybrid with 12k,fully loaded.I have come to realize I am not happy with the IDLE CONTROL feature, guess im just to old school for this specific feature, not to mention after some thought I realized how detrimental the constant shut down feature is in traffic because of dry starts that can add up as wear on the cylinder walls etc.Im also not happy with the lag time when the motor restarts and then your ready to push on the gas pedal. Are there any after market products, or bright ideas from a HONDA TECH that will allow me to shut this feature off and keep the motor running when coming to stops???Someone please tell me it can be done, and how, or im looking to trade it in!
