Put in Volt Gauge in the Del Sol. Its one of those volt gauges with 2 wires just the Ground and Power. It worked perfectly fine for like a week then it started flickering while the car is on but when the ignition is on but the engine isnt its nice and solid
I wired it to a Stable Ground and Power simply to a fuse under the dash. Hope that isnt the problem but any ideas? Flickering driving me Crazy.
Depending on how accurate that gauge is, the flicker may be a sign of normal operation. Most gauges have a delayed signal so that the flicker isn't present, but if you hook up an actual volt meter to your car you'll see the voltage goes all over the place; same goes for the tachometer when you hook it up to a dyno, the actual tach variations will be all over the place. When the car is off, the gauge will be flat because it's drawing from stored power, not generated power.
Hey sorry for the late reply! I grounded it of course and the powers coming from a fuse in the fuse box, it's the fuse that powers the power windows I mean I didn't eanny splice anything Soo this is probably the problem??

Any changes in the problem? Can you re-explain the issue you're having?
