So i recently had 2 codes come up p1259 & p0505. P1259 would not let me rev over 4rpm, then it turned off. Now this p0505 says its a vacuum leak or dirty throttle body. I cleaned the body but it whistles when idle & cruising. Please help!!

 

Make sure all your hoses are good. The intake hose from the air box to the throttle body is prone to cracking. There is a vacuum hose that connects to number 5 in the picture below check that one too.



There is also the vacuum line which connects to the purge solenoid valve ( 6 in the picture ) make sure the hose is good.

Turned out to be a dirty TB on both sides & a some chunks from the previous gasket before i replaced it. But thank you!!

So i recently bought a new battery 3 months ago & now its dead. My battery light has been coming on & off as i drive. My ABS light came on a couple minutes before it died.

 

I had a similar issue... one of two things... your alternator is toast or the harness is corroded. Take apart and inspect.

 

Ya it was my alternator.
