HELP!

Ok, I'm a high school student and I'm new to honda-tech.I drive a 96 accord, and soon as i got my subs installed...... my needles on the gauges stopped illuminating! HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?????:crook

It's been out for a while... The numbers and symbols illuminate its just the needles
