Default d16y8 shifter linkage

Can someone tell me how to remove shifter linkage from my d16y8 im doing a swap and dont know how to take it off from my 99 civic ex coupe

Bitch pin under the boot/collar the 12 next to it then the two twelves at the handle remove shift **** as well... Youtube this basic stuff

I don't know either. 100% of my mod duty in this forum is moving out threads that don't belong in the EMS forum.

People in EMS whining about being the dumping ground. That's cute. Maybe they should venture over here and see the dumb **** that gets posted.

If you're swapping, it's really simple. Unbolt it from where the shifter is. It's something like 2 10mm, and 2 12mm bolts, IIRC. Drop the transmission, and pull the linkage out with the transmission. Simple.

What year Corolla and what trim? I've done a few K20 swapped Corollas and since the K20 and K24 are pretty much the same, the swap process will be the same.


I make adapter plates for K24 to Toyota T50 if this is going into an AE86.
