I have a wheel hop problem!

I make 220 whp 154 torque! with a 4.785 just curious what anyone knows what products I can use to stiffen the cars front end! I have seen the engine dampening bar! what else have you guys seen out there!

 

What's ur suspension setup?

 

z10 traction bars, and energy susp motor mount inserts, worked for me . just gotta keep an eye on the bars to make surte they stay tight , they loosen up from time to time.

 

i've heard of those z10 traction bars.....how exactly do they work?

yeah heard of those bars to I guess I forgot to mention that stuff but I dont know how to get them! I want to car toohook before I get slicks on it!

I got a 13.1 on the azenis! at 15 psi on the tires! thanks for your help! got any other prducts I could use!

oh yeah I have koni yellows with nuespeed race springs! I stiffend the rear and softened the front! but fcukng power of the car and since I have it the engine set upa certain way torq comes on at 4000 rpms and when I hit vtec it spins the tires even when I feather it!

 

you're making 220 whp and you don't know why you're not getting traction?? is this your first high horspower honda (LOL i said high horsepower and honda in one sentence) Z10 Engineering

I put the jimfab setup on my car and dropped my 60' times by .2 seconds. However, the lack of wheel hop turned into wheel spin so i had to drop my launch RPM to get out of the hole better, but still, .2 is worth it to me.

 

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh alright smart ***! well I should of said the car didnt do that when it was untuned and the 4.7 was not in yet! I know I have alot more power ( **** give me a break!!!) thanks to the peopl who share there knowledge! not there smartass remaks!

and for you fast as crx this is one of 3 cars thata are high horsepower all I asked was for some info to see what you guys would suggest ( hey if you ever want a street race I have a high horsepower honda that you would love to see in action courtesy of my engine builder!!!)

 

whoa calm down.... well your engine builder... should have told you what you needed to put the power to the ground...

yeah well sorry to jump all over you! I just wanted to see your guys info on hooking up thanks homie fo rthe site!!

 

I did the ES bushings and it helped a little then I got the Z10's and it helped a little more
but I still had mad wheel hop on my 16 inch street tires 200 whp/147 TQ
My hasport mounts helped a little more!
I got slicks and the wheel hop is gone
I never thought they would help that much but it was the best $800 I spent

Z10 rule, just dont put them on EK, when you turn full and brake, you have no brakes! They bind! Its crazy scary!
