Default Trans. growling noise

I seem to be getting a growling noise coming from my transmission when idleing and in neutral. When I push down on the clutch pedal it goes away and all I can hear is the engine idling nice and quietly like it is supposed to. The car is a 99 civic DX 5 speed with approx. 370k miles on it. I did the clutch about a year ago. I am wondering if there are any kind of adjustments made to the clutch. I know its a hydraulic system. Any ideas? I will try and post a video as soon as I figure out how to.

Input shaft bearing is going, or is gone.

Dang! I was hoping I didn't have to take trans out again, but an input shaft bearing does make sense...

It's also very common problem with these old cars.

Any estimates on the cost to replace one of these? Any issues with driving around with a blown input shaft bearing? I think mine is starting to have this problem as well.

You can get the bearing and axle seals and ISB seal for around 90 bucks Canadian at the dealership.

Then it's the fun of dropping the tranny, ripping it open, swapping seals and the bearing, then using "The Right Stuff" or Flange Sealant to put the case back together.

Driving on it without fixing it, well, it's going to take out the transmission and then you are looking for a new tranny to put in the car.
