02 accord v6 hard to start.....
There's no CEL. No specific time the car will act up, hot, cold temps outside or engine. Drive to Seattle or cold -20° day, same thing.
Just did timing belt and this happened. I'm about to rip back into it and I really don't want to, but it's not my car, it's a friends uncles car.
Randomly it'll be running fine. Get to your destination and shut it off. Finish and go to start it and it chugs a bit and catches at like 600rpm as struggle. Hit the gas for a few seconds and all is well. Just recently developed a no-start problem which I have yet to see for myself, but it's happening and we cannot figure out why. There's huge tension and frustration and I'm 100% to blame and I'm not sure what or why it's doing this.
Like I said there's no CEL and I did the timing belt and all this hard to start problems happened then. Is there anything I missed?? Runs fine, has all its power, no limp home mode. VERY confused.
PLZZZZ HAAAAALP!!!! Thanks guys!

Need to get more details.
The "hot start" issue you describe is not uncommon for a 6th gen v6. Engine warm, shut it off for 15~30 minutes and on re-start the engine struggles to stay running.
Now the no start....again need more details...is the starter working....is it getting fuel.....is it getting spark.
My "guess" is that this is not due to the timing belt - so I would not tear that far back into it. Yes might be a loose connection or something like that but nothing where I would be pulling the timing covers back off.
