I have a 98 coupe and I'm just finishing up rear disk conversion. I used 96 Integra rear disk and replaced literally everything possible. (Calipers, bushings, ect) I bought brand new 99-00 si parking brake cables and adjusted them to about 5 clicks up. I have good tension on it, but it isn't locking my rear brakes up (not even dragging) any ideas?

 

Did you try bleeding your lines? Maybe there is air causing your brakes to be soft

 

Make sure that the parking brake mechanism at the caliper is not frozen (stuck).

 

The rear brakes are bled and I had firm pedal. And yes the mechanism's are free. I can see them move.

 

add more tension on the line?, are these old rusty rotors/oem pads? or new everything?
