Whining Honda City 2014 5 Speed Manual
Hello,
I just purchased a new 2014 Honda City 5 Speed Manual and when I am driving there is a constant whining sound which is more pronounced when I push on the accelerator. It follows the speed of the car/tires and does not change when I rev the engine or when I shift gears does it change. I took it back to the dealer in Thailand and they had me drive another one, a new one same car which had the same sound. They also tested the gear oil and said it was pure. I am a bit of a perfectionist and probably many people would not even hear it that much, but I think it is CV joint related, not transmission. Any comment welcome. Or maybe it is normal. At higher speeds if i let of the accelerator it goes away. Thanks for any comments that make sense.
