Icon6 99 civic IACV

I have a 99 civic for some reason there is an annoying noise coming from the IACV Sounds even louder when I put on the air intake. Sometimes when I open the throttle and let go of it sounds like the engines wants to turn off idle drops for a sec and goes back to normal it's turned off on me sometimes when I play with the throttle. What could it be?

Clean the IACV and make sure there's some slack in the throttle cable.

CEL codes?

Pressure test the cooling system and also rent the AutoZone block tester kit.

All of your coolant drains but doesn't come out? What do you mean by that? It also sounds like you aren't bleeding the system properly.

Put the front end of the car on jack stands (or park up a hill). Remove your radiator cap. Top the radiator up, and start the car. Let it run until the radiator fan has cycled three times, constantly making sure the radiator stays full. Once you've finished that, replace the radiator cap, fill/empty the radiator overflow tank until it is between the low and high lines.
