Hey there everyone, I just need quick help.. I am trying to buy a semi used throttle body assembly for my civic ( 1998 Honda Civic Dx hatchback D16y7 motor). but I cant figure out if a throttle body that came from a Honda civic with a automatic tranny would work on a civic that has a manual tranny??

Are they same kind of throttle body? or Is there something different about them?

Well I hope someone can help or point me to a thread that talks about this subject!

The ivac is mounted on bottom of automatic y8 throttle bodies and on all y7 throttle bodies and are 3 wire.

The manual y8 have the ivac mounted on the intake manifold themselves and are 2 wire.

Any 96-00 automatic throttle body should work, to make searching easier.

 

So any 96-00 automatica throttle body show work on y7 Manual... With out any problems? They just look the same so I didn't know the difference... Cool thanks bro...
