I just Rebuilt a 99 Acura Tl 4 speed trans. I rebuilt completely along with torque converter and updates but did not replace any external electronics/solenoids. Overall the trans shifts good but am having a few problems. For one I am having trouble with the dash gear selector light. It sometimes will not light up the neutral and drive light causing the trans to not go back into reverse or not go into sport shift. It can be easily corrected by shaking the shifter a little. Also I am getting a little slippage at hard acceleration from 1-2. Am getting code P1738 I am confident that the rebuild was done correctly so it has to be external issues cause this. Any help is appreciated.
