Default Rear ended by drunk driver. Any professionals here?

2006 TSX. Auto, non navigation.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on this?

I was sitting at a red light and a drunk driver hit me going pretty fast. He didn't even touch his brakes! It pushed my car completely through the other side of the intersection.

The impact also FUBARD my driver seat. I guess from throwing me around. Seems like the seat frame is bent/out of alignment. Airbags did not deploy. I don't know if they're not supposed to in this type of accident or not.

Please don't reply if you're guessing or just assuming it'll be totaled out.

I'm looking for a professional opinion to compare against some local estimates and also my insurance appraisal.

this car has rear frame damage as seen by the rear facing picture. My best estimate is that the damage will well over $5000 because of the severity to the trunk floor, possible gas tank, exhaust, trunk, tail lights, quarter panels on both sides, seat as mentioned.

You dont show the roof but I am willing to bet you have a wrinkle on the roof or farther up front on a front pillar as well.

Insurance will most likely total it and if they dont, you dont want to drive this car after repaired. Door jam on the pass side looks to have kinks in it as well.

this isnt an assumption, the insurance WILL total it a complete loss.

Just received a call back from the estimator. Damage is roughly $11k - total loss. Floor pan is rippled/tweaked. And this estimate was using used parts where available.

Thanks for the reply guys. Time to decide what to get next.
