Honda Accord 2001 2.3 Vtec Sensor Issue.
Hi, I recently got engine head gasket renewed and the valve / timing seals renewed. In this process all sensors were disconnected / removed. Throttle body removed and reconnected.
On completing the task the car is not accelerating properly up to 3000rpm..it picks up very slowly/ less power..after that things become normal. The sensor light is showing.
My mechanic does not have a scanner and we are trying to identify the cause.
We doubt the o2 sensor or the Vtec solenoid. Can this be it ? or anything to do with ideal air valve ?

Hondas up til the mid 2000's still have the two wire blue connector.
It will only give you the OBDI code, but that should get you pretty close.
