I have a 2002 honda civic. I know the bare minimum about cars or vehicles in general. The other day I was driving down the interstate at about 80 mph going over slightly and the car acted as if it was maybe trying to stall. The lights dimmed and the car slowed down at a very fast rate. It scared me and my first reaction was to push the clutch which I did and it went back to normal but it did it a few more times until I finally decided that it may be the speed and slowed down. Has this happened to anybody else? What's going on with my car? Is it something I can have fixed?

 

Have the alternator checked and pull the CEL codes.
