Mugen sport pedal (#46545-XG5-K2S0) compatible with EM2?
Hi everyone, I searched but didn't find any threads about the Mugen sports pedals and the EM2 Civics. I want to get one but only if it's directly/fully compatible without any modifications needed to install them. If anyone knows, please help, thanks!

It states right on the listing that it fits a 2001-2005 Civic. That being said, they're just bolt on covers for the stock pedals. They'll fit many things, including even non-Honda's.
I forgot to mention that the Mugen website listing for this pedal kit does not show the EM2 as being compatible (it shows other models/gens like EK and EG), so not sure if the reseller is correct about compatibility or not.
1.) I've actually seen the pedals first hand.
2.) I trust the validity of their website.
3.) The Japanese market NEVER got the EM2 chassis. It was only offered in outlying countries, like the US and a few countries in Europe. So listing that it fit the EM2 chassis would be a bit irrelevant in their own advertisement, since it's a Japanese-based company.
4.) They're practically universal by design. They just clamp on to the pedal.
That particular distributor is the only licensed Mugen distributor in the United States, and it just so happens to be 40 minutes from my house. I can confirm that their listing is accurate for a few reasons.

But I'm curious if anyone knows if the throttle pedal actually has a removable cover? It seems like if you remove the plastic pedal/cover on my 02 EM2 (unlike the Preludes in the link) you would be left with just a metal bar, which you wouldn't be able to attach the Mugen cover to. Anyone know?

So I got the Mugen pedal covers yesterday and they seem legit based on the info from king motor sports (e.g. etched part number on the back of the covers, etc.). No problem installing the clutch and the brake covers. And as people have mentioned before, the throttle was another story. It seems that the 02 EM2 that I have does not have a removable cover for the throttle pedal (which seems to be verified by the parts diagrams on honda parts stores) and so I just screwed the new throttle cover onto the old rubbery plastic pedal/cover.
