Hey guys im from canada, i maybe buying an ap1 S2000 i want to know what you guys think about it, the car is a 2000 honda s2000 Clean Title it has 155000KM (~96miles) at 12000$, before buying it i will look at the carfax and if its clean make a an inspection at a good garage. What do you guys think about it ?

$12,000 may be just the tip of the iceberg!

Check the usual VIN tags and for damage. Car will probably need new tires so budget for them as well as routine service. Will probably need new brakes as well.

Download the year-2000 owners manual and read the maintenance section. Many items need to be changed every few years regardless of mileage. Engine coolant, brake and clutch fluid, differential, transmission, and engine lubricants. Without documentation assume the previous owner(s) might have changed the oil, but nothing more.

Condition of the top -- and plastic rear window -- is paramount as these are a good $1000 for a replacement.

Crappy time of year for a roadster if it's your only car.
