Default No Crank position sensor

I put an F22b1 obd1 engine in a obd2 system. Obd2 distributor exists now and the F22b1 engine I put in will not allow the installation for the crank position sensor/crank fluctuation sensor on the oil pump housing.
I would like to know if I can install another oil pump housing on this engine which can accommodate the sensors?

What year and engine model was the original engine ? You might be able to swap over your existing. Or you need a 96/97 f22b1 oil pump housing and crank/tdc sensor assembly. Only civics had the fluctuation sensors, yours will have a tdc sensor.

The original 1998 engine F23A4 engine went for a core so those parts are not available to me. I did retain the ckp/tdc sensors. I will be able to search for another oil pump cover and the necessary gear for timing from the salvage yard. Ebay has a pump cover listed which says fits a f22b1 and a few others. It says it fits a 2.2l and a 2.3l. I would like a conformation from someone who has made this swap.

Only issues I can have so far with this swap is no fire due to no ckp and the oil pan is touching the frame.

It specifically has to be a 96-97 F22B1/B2 oil pump housing. And will you also need both timing belt and balance shaft crank gears.

I did get an oil pump cover which would accept the two sensors. All is good and the engine is a good one? One thing left is to add a knock sensor.

Thanks for the help.
