OR 1993 DA Integra $2200
Hello,
I am selling my 1993 Acura Integra. I just moved here to Portland from Hawaii and that is where I purchased the car from.
It was extremely well taken care of and I recently spent a ton of money on new tires and wheels, new tein street coilovers, and a complete audio system.
It has a rebuilt engine with about 30k on the engine and the chassis has about 212K. This car will go for at least another 100k. Do not have receipts for rebuild as last owner had it done. You can tell however whenever you take off the valve cover, it's quite obvious.
Pros:
All Motor mounts replaced with OEM mounts. The mounts alone cost 500 dollars. The labor could have been 500 - 1000. It was a very difficult job especially in the rear. However this car will idle perfectly for another 100K
Complete new Tein suspension with adjustable coilovers
4 new calipers
4 new rotors (brembo blanks) and brake pads
Stainless Steel brake lines all around
Brand new wheels and some of the best entry line tires that will get you through everything. (Goodyear GForce all seasons)
New polk audio 3-way speakers with cross-overs mounted inside doors (done properly and would have been hundreds to do at a shop) properly wired through wire harness going through door.
Pioneer 3200UB Head unit (very powerful, and hard to find. Has a nice green option that's very 90's
Pioneer DEH-3200UB CD receiver at Crutchfield.com
Rockford 500rms Amp (rated at 650)
Rockford 12" ported sub
Properly routed 0/1 gauge wiring with mounted fuse in engine bay
Optima Red Top battery
New Sparkplugs
New wires
Filter replaced
Oil changed
Valve cover gasket changed
Complete interior swap from ugly tan to black. (cost me about 1000 to get all the parts, black interior is hard to get in good condition these days)
Brand new black carpet installed
Brand new CV axles on both sides
Brand new intermediate shaft with bearing
Brand new OEM engine mounts. (not a cheap job, each mount was over hundred bucks.)
More stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Cons:
Slight grind going into 3rd gear. The syncro needs to be replaced, a transmission shop will do this cheap. All you have to do is shift exactly at 3500 or shift a little slower.
missing front left turn signal. didn't tighten it down all the way and it fell out on the road somewhere.
previous owner had a fender bender on the left side:
-replaced front bumper
-replaced left fender
-gas tank lid needs to be replaced (gas station attendant broke and refused to fix)
-need a coat of paint to go over the fender and bumper (respray is very cheap)
tan seats still left over from the interior swap.
the connector that connects the defroster to the window broke off. It's an easy fix, I just lost interest in the car.
A/C needs to be recharged properly
Not really much else besides general wear and tear.
You will not have to do much to make this a great car.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I've spent a ton of money on this car getting it from the beater status I bought for 2K 2 years ago. Now I'm basically selling it for 2K. I really love this car and it's stupid of me to get rid of it however I just lost interest. And it just sits and gets dirty. It can become great for so little..
The car is located in Portland, OR
Thanks!
Ian
