I'm going to be doing a dash swap soon with the 1997 Acura CL Dash. At the moment I have finished the entire center console but all that's left is the actual dash panel.







I live in California so I know I am going to have to deal with the CHP due to the VIN on the dash. I'm just wondering, do they just care about the VINs only being clean and where i got it or would the fact that this dash is from a CL cause issues? From the two people I have talked to from the CHP said it shouldn't be an issue but this isn't the actual VIN Check Officer so, gotta love bureaucracy!
