Hello everyone, I have a 2004 Honda Accord and i love to update anything that is on or around the car. I have a question before i purchase this key fob. My original key fob has finally broke off, it's separated from the key and the keyless entry part. I was thinking, why not get one of Honda's switchblade keys. I know how to activate key fobs but I want to know would the switchblade key fob be compatible with my 7th gen Accord?

 

A lot of people have done it, but I hear the switchblade starts to get loose/wears out after a lot of use, and they are pretty heavy. You would have to get the key cut, and switch the immobilizer chip from the original key fob.
