Found I guy selling these CTR cams, and I was wondering if they're worth picking up? I talked him down, but now I'm a little skeptical.
My biggest worry is the wear, or am I just over thinking it.

What is "cheap"?
Hard to tell wear characteristics w/o feeling them w/ a fingernail. The lobes LOOK ok, but the journals are pretty scuffed (at least by looking at those pics)

I talked him down to $220 picked up. I did notice the scuffing too, was wondering if that something to be worried about?
Could be more of a visual sore than anything. If you run your finger nail over them and they catch and feel really deep/rough I would pass on them personally. Another thing that caught my attention is I have never seen a set of OEM cams so shiny on the journals...
When my oil pump went out my brand new pro1 cams looked like that.
They were toast.
Better use paypal customer protection and make it clear with the seller that if they are worn out u expect your money back.
