96 Accord coupe faint fuel smell in engine bay
Hey all,
My in-laws have a 96 Accord coupe what there seems to be a slight smell of fuel coming from the engine bay beneath the brake master cylinder. Can you give me an idea of what might be in that area that might be leaking? Thank you.

The fuel filter is located below the master cylinder, might check that for leaks and the like.
Don't just jump to the filter, verify first. If you've never changed one on a 5th gen you'll know why.
If you can smell it, you should be able to see the "wet gas".

Could also be an EVAP issue. On the firewall there will be three lines coming up from under the car. Primary will have the fuel filter, secondary will be the return fuel line(follow it from the fuel rail), and third will be the EVAP line. Verify that none of the vacuum hoses have been pulled off/damaged/etc.
