Does Comptech use Ultraflow muffler's on there exhaust for an NSX. Reason I ask is that a friend of mine bought one over the net. He said the guy who sold it to him said it was used although it looked brand new to me. One thing that suprised me was that it said Ultrflow on the muffler although the tips said Comptech. I suggested he wait till Monday and call Comptech to verify, although he was too excited and wanted to install it. Also the welds looked pretty clean so he said what the hell and we put it on. It sounded good. Two week's later it began to have a louder sound. He thought maybe he has an exhaust leak and decided to buy exhaust gasket's, although we find that was not the problem. A friend of our's was admireing the exhaust system and decided to take a look underneath and noticed a hole that you can fit your fist through. We were like WTF? It look's like something from inside busted out, as the metal was bent outward. When we istalled it we heard nothing inside and it did not bust at a weld point. Anyone else with a Comptech exhaust ever heard of this, or any ideas?

It depends on how old the exhaust is... Comptech used to use Ultraflow muffs, up until a couple of years ago.
