Would work well for crimping? I can avoid using solder correct?

For a ground, those will be sufficient.

 

Crimping fine for audio cables too? I'd just get some gold plated terminal ends. Or is solder the only way to go?

 

Audio cables? You may want to refer to the Audio forum, but I would think it's okay.
